Havanese as Assistance Dogs

Due to their excellent sense of smell, the Havanese is often used for tracking, mold and termite detection, and the recovery of tennis balls in the bushes. More importantly, however, is their use as therapy dogs. They have the perfect temperament to provide comfort and affection to people in nursing homes, hospitals, assisted living facilities and mental health facilities.
